Privacy Policy for e-sorcery

Effective Date: 17 December 2025

Thank you for using e-sorcery («the App»). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle your
information when you use our application.

  1. Information We Collect We collect a very limited amount of information, solely to provide and improve the functionality of the App. a) Information You Provide:
  • Drawings: The content you create using the App, which consists of path data (coordinates), color, and thickness
    information. b) Information Collected Automatically:
  • Anonymous User ID: When you use the real-time sharing feature, we use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to generate
a random, anonymous User ID. We do not collect any personal information like your name, email, or device ID. This
anonymous ID is used to securely associate your shared drawing data with you, so that only you can modify or delete
    it.
  • Shared Drawing Data: If you choose to use the «Share» feature, your drawing data (paths, colors) is uploaded to our
Firebase Realtime Database to be viewed by others through a public link.
  • Bluetooth Data: The App scans for nearby Bluetooth devices to find and connect to your digital drawing pad. We may
temporarily see device names and addresses during the scanning process, but this information is not stored or
    associated with your personal identity.
  1. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
  • To Provide Core Functionality: To display your drawings on the screen in real-time as they are received from your
    drawing pad.
  • To Enable Real-Time Sharing: To upload your drawing data to the cloud and make it accessible via a unique, public
URL when you choose to share it.
  • To Save Drawings Locally: To save your drawings as image files on your device’s local storage, at your request.
  • To Save Preferences: To remember your chosen pen color and thickness for future sessions.
  1. Data Sharing and Disclosure We do not share, sell, or rent your information with third parties, except in the following circumstances:
  • Public Sharing: When you initiate a sharing session, the drawing data for that session is made publicly readable to
anyone who has the share link. The session is associated with your anonymous User ID, which is also part of the
URL, but this ID does not personally identify you. You can stop sharing at any time, which deletes the session data
    from our database.
  • Third-Party Services (Firebase): We use Google’s Firebase services (Realtime Database, Anonymous Authentication,
Hosting) to power the sharing feature. Firebase may collect usage data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy
    (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
  1. Data Storage and Security
  • Local Storage: Your saved drawings and app preferences are stored securely on your own device.
  • Cloud Storage: Shared drawing data is stored on Firebase Realtime Database. We have configured security rules to
ensure that while shared data is publicly readable (so the website can display it), it can only be written to or
deleted by the original creator (you, through your anonymous User ID). While we implement reasonable security
measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
  1. Your Choices and Rights You have control over your data in the following ways:
  • You can choose not to use the real-time sharing feature.
  • If you use the sharing feature, you can stop the session at any time, which will delete the drawing data from the
    cloud.
  • You can delete any drawings saved locally on your device through your device’s file manager.
  • You can clear your app’s data through your device’s settings to reset your anonymous User ID and all preferences.
  1. Children’s Privacy The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
    children under 13.
  2. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy
Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
